Answered questions fast went out of his way to help get what I was looking for.
The D3AA is a powerful little light, and the UV mule version is no different. It puts out enough UV in a floody enough beam to make an entire room glow as well as a light twice it's size if that's your thing. Handy for pet owners. And at saner output levels that are more conducive to long runtimes, it's efficient driver allows for longer runtimes than one would expect from a small battery. Regardless of level, the ZWB filter allows you to see more UV fluorescence than visible purple overpowering the glow that one buys UV lights to show.
The only downside is pretty obvious to anyone who knows a little about batteries or flashlights; it's a 14500 light, with all that that implies about runtime and thermal rampdown. The Freeman driver is good, but it's not "defies the laws of physics" good.
If you keep that in mind, it's an great light for what it can do and how small it is. I've had a few UV lights, and this one is the most practical one I've owned. Doing what I need as well as a larger light without all the weight and bulk while also allowing the option to (briefly) hit well above it's weight class is simply awesome.

This tiny light packs a punch as a UV mule! Small and light enough to tuck in a watch pocket but still puts out an impressive flood of UV light. The ZWB2 filter ensures that only UV passes through so the effects of the beam are only visible when shining on things which react to UV light.
Keep the battery size in mind in terms of capacity and the size of the light in mind in terms of heat dissipation. It's excellent for its size and what it can do, but it can't defy the laws of thermodynamics!
